Dave DeWalt

Dave DeWalt is founder and Managing Director of NightDragon, a late-stage and growth venture capital firm focused on the cybersecurity, safety, security and privacy market. He is a veteran CEO, advisor, and investor who has led companies, from startups to the Fortune 500, on a transformational journey of success. Focused on technology and cybersecurity, Dave helped create more than $20 billion of shareholder value during his 15-plus years as President and CEO of three major companies. That includes driving the largest cybersecurity IPO to date as of 2013, and leading the largest all-cash deal in technology history as of 2010. Today, he serves as Managing Director of Allegis Cyber as well as investor and board member in the world’s most innovative companies such as Delta Airlines, Five9, Forescout, Phantom Cyber, Claroty, Team8, DataTribe, Illusive Networks, and Optiv.

As CEO, Balaji Yelamanchili brings more than two decades of experience as an operating executive and investor in high-growth software companies. Previously he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Symantec’s Enterprise Security Business Unit. Prior to Symantec, he oversaw business analytics and enterprise performance management products at Oracle as Senior Vice President. He has also held executive positions at EMC Corporation, Documentum Inc., and Rational Software, now part of IBM. Balaji holds an M.S. in Engineering from the Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

Neil Carew is a principal in the PSG Boston office. Previously, he was a director of value creation at Vista Consulting Group, an affiliate of Vista Equity Partners, where he focused on enterprise value creation across a portfolio of software technology investments. Prior to that, Neil worked with two Vista portfolio companies driving business transformation outcomes, coordinating mergers and acquisitions activities and leading proven operational strategies in marketing, sales, services, support and customer success. He was also a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers’s mergers and acquisitions advisory practice and began his career as an aeronautical engineer at Boeing.

Neil earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and strategy from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
