ThreatConnect Expands Presence in Australia and New Zealand through Exclusive Partnership with emt Distribution

With this partnership, ThreatConnect solidifies its commitment to growth in the region

Arlington, VA, May 15, 2018  – ThreatConnect, Inc.®, provider of the industry’s only extensible, intelligence-driven security platform, is proud to announce it has entered into an exclusive partnership with emt Distribution to meet the growing demand for security solutions in Australia and New Zealand. emt Distribution will offer ThreatConnect’s full suite of products to help address the Australian Signals Directorate’s Top 4 mitigation strategies and the broader strategies in the Australian Government’s Information Security Manual (ISM) to prevent cybersecurity incidents.

With this agreement, ThreatConnect has dedicated local assets at emt’s offices to handle customer demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs), which will accelerate the company’s proactive channel strategy for the region.

“emt has an outstanding track record penetrating the Australian market with emerging security technology and vendor partners,” said Adam Vincent, ThreatConnect CEO. “This partnership is especially meaningful because emt does not sign multiple vendors in the same space, but opts to only partner with organizations they view as market leaders. We are excited that they chose us to be the product they sell in the TIP and SOAR categories.”

“We are delighted with securing ThreatConnect as the newest addition to our portfolio of cyber security solutions,” said Richard Rundle, CEO of emt Distribution. “ThreatConnect significantly extends the cyber capabilities our channel partners provide in threat intelligence, threat analytics and threat orchestration.  With the call for intelligence sharing and the introduction of the newly formed Joint Cyber Security Centre (JCSC) program in Australia, ThreatConnect’s single platform can also help organizations share intelligence within their industry for real, actionable intelligence that is truly relevant.”

The ThreatConnect suite of products, all built on the ThreatConnect Platform, were created to better equip security teams in identifying the most relevant threats, proactively protecting their network, and quickly responding to incidents in a measurable way. Built for security teams at all maturity levels, ThreatConnect enables organizations to benefit from their collective knowledge and talents; develop security processes; and leverage their existing technologies.
