We here at Polarity are excited to bring back our Contributor of the Quarter award for 2023 by announcing this quarter’s contributor, John Winchester of Secrutiny!
John and team over at Secrutiny have been doing some fantastic things, and not just with Polarity. If you aren’t familiar with Secrutiny, they are an MSSP that believes cybersecurity doesn’t have to be complex to be smart. Their job is to encourage and guide you through identifying risk, determining effective policy and processes, and architecting security solutions that work in your environment and don’t slow your operation down. John was awarded Contributor of the Quarter not only for his great contributions to Polarity’s product and integration roadmap, but for his ingenuity in how to use and configure Polarity. John created an amazing script that auto-deploys and configures multiple Google Chronicle integrations, enabling our community of users to get immediate value.
We applaud John and the team at Secrutiny for their contributions and ingenuity in using Polarity. Community participation is one thing that makes the Polarity Community continue to set the precedent for immediate information delivery, automating knowledge transfer across teams, and enabling users to understand which of their tools deliver value. We encourage all community members to share suggestions and knowledge with one another and to provide feedback and feature requests to the Polarity team. To commemorate the Polarity Contributor of the Quarter award, John will receive a piece of Polarity swag!
Items that influence our Contributor of the Month selection include sharing product feedback with the Polarity team, requesting new features, and participating in group discussions. Though sometimes overlooked in other community settings, helping others to find success is a key concept of the Polarity Community. Community feedback and idea-sharing through the use of the Polarity Community Slack channel is critical to information exchange and making the community useful for everyone.
