ThreatConnect’s Top 5 Things to Do While at the 2016 FS-ISAC Fall Summit

BG 2016 FS ISAC Fall Summit

ThreatConnect will be at the 2016 FS-ISAC Fall Summit! As always, we are excited to participate with FS-ISAC at this event. Here are a few CAN’T MISS things to do while you are there:

1. Attend: Leveraging Threat Intelligence (Public and Private) for Small to Mid-Sized FIs
10/25/2016 at 3:45pm-4:45pm

This session will cover how small to medium sized financial institutions manage threat intelligence within their organization. Here at ThreatConnect, we know smaller financial firms struggle implementing threat intelligence into their security program due to lack of resources. ThreatConnect’s security platform can assist such teams through automation and prioritizing threat data. This panel will cover how they have utilized human resources and technology implementations to build a threat intelligence program.

Speakers: John Lockie, Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union
Greg Jones, Progress Bank
Justin Borland, Cyber Threat Resistance Center
Wes Spencer, FNB Bank Inc.

2. Attend: Deus Ex Machina: New Considerations for Sharing Machine-Readable Intelligence via STIX and TAXII
10/24/2016 at 10:00am-10:30am

STIX and TAXII have become the standard for sharing intelligence data. ThreatConnect supports data sharing with the open-source STIX and TAXII standard. This session will cover the latest trends and use cases related to these standards.

Speaker: David Eilken, Soltra

3. Stop by the ThreatConnect Booth #86!

Get one of our infamous t-shirts, stay for a demo and to discuss current use cases of the ThreatConnect security platform! Learn about what’s next on our roadmap, meet CEO and co-founder Adam Vincent!

4. Dine Around at Opry Backstage Grill

10/25/2016 6:45pm-9pm 2401 Music Valley Dr. Nashville, TN 37214

Enjoy cocktails, smoky bbq, live music, and great conversation with the ThreatConnect team!

5. Gaylord Opryland Resort Indoor Gardens Boat Ride

Take a break from the conference and enjoy the famous Gaylord Opryland Resort Indoor gardens from the indoor river boat ride. Cost is about $10.00/per person. Usually I’d say just walk the path, but after a long day at the conference… enjoying the waterfalls, flowers, and scenery on a relaxing boat ride… perfect!

Hope to see you there!
